|Top 5 Boys & Top 2 Girls will advance to the National event|
|Local & State qualifying tournaments are open to all male and female amateur golfers who are Massachusetts residents (permanent residence) and who will not reach their 19th birthday on or before August 9, 2018. Juniors in "neighboring states" are permitted to play so as long as their state does not conduct a Big "I" event.
Note: Non-Massachusetts residents (neighboring states) will need to win the Big “I” Junior Classic (State) “outright” to gain a spot at the National event; however this will not affect the total number of spots advancing for those MA residents – Top 5 boys, Top 2 Girls. The MA Independent Insurance agents will not provide a stipend for a non-resident winner, however for those successful MA residents (top 5 boys, Top 2 girls) some expenses for the National event will be covered.
|Players interested in participating at the State level will need to qualify at one of the local events listed below. Qualifiers for the MA Trusted Choice Big "I" Junior Classic (State Qualifier) are as follows:

|Each participant must be familiar with the USGA Rules of Amateur Status and have conformed to these rules in every respect. Participants must understand the Championship and Qualifying event regulations and agree that this entry is subject to the approval or rejection at any time by the Trusted Choice® Big “I” Officials at their discretion. Participants must further understand the use of alcohol, drugs or misconduct is a violation of the Code of Conduct and will result in disqualification.|
